All three, the monotheism, polytheism, and animism are classified as religions. They are all specific type of religion, mainly based around what/who is worshiped. The monotheism is a religion type in which there is only one God, he has the biggest power, as well as control over everything. Examples for this type of religion are the Abrahamic religions, Christianity, Islam, and Judaism. The polytheism is a religious type in which there's numerous Gods that are worshiped. All oft he Gods have their own unique powers, and they rule certain realm. An example of this is the Hinduism. The animism is a religious type that is closely related with the nature, as it is based around the natural occurrences. In this religious type, the people believe that the natural occurrences have powers of their own, that they are something sacred, and they have big and deep respect for them. An example of this are the religions of the Native Americans.
