In a parallelogram, AB = 10 cm. The length of altitude on AB and AD are 7 cm and 8 cm. Find AD.

Using the formula of area of ||gm

1/2 × AB × altitude1= 1/2 ×AD × altitude2

AB×altitude1=AD×Altitude2

10×7=AD×8

AD= 70/8 = 8.75
