AB = 12cm , altitude corresponding to AB = 8cm

area of parallelogram = base × altitude

= 12 × 8 = 96cm^2

if AD = 10cm , then AD would be the new base because a altitude is drawn in it .so let the altitude corresponding to AD be h cm .

area of parallelogram= base × altitude

96 = 10 × h

h = 96 ÷ 10 = 9.6cm

Answer:
-------------

altitude corresponding to AD = 9.6cm
