Thank you for asking this question. Here is your answer:

AB = 12 cm

DE = 9 cm

BF = 11 cm

Now the area of parallelogram  = base x corresponding height

AD x BF = AB x DE

AD x 11 =  12 x 9

AD = (12*9) / 11

AD = 108/11

= 9.8 cm
