area of parallelogram. = B*H=16*8

= 128

given , AD = 10

so H = Area÷B

so, 128÷10

so answer is 12. 8

The length of AD=12.8 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

In parallelogram ABCD

AB=16 cm

Altitude corresponding to side AB,h=8 cm

Altitude corresponding to side  AD,h'=10 cm

Area of parallelogram=Base\times height

Using the formula

Area of parallelogram ABCD=AB\times h=16\times 8 cm^2

Again ,

Area of parallelogram=AD\times h'

Area of parallelogram=AD\times 10

16\times 8=AD\times 10

AD=\frac{16\times 8}{10}=12.8 cm

The length of AD=12.8 cm
