Given in the parallelogram,

AB =  (2x + 1)

CD =  (5x - 2)

Opposite sides of a parallelogram are same,

⇒ AB = CD

 2x + 1 = 5x - 2

 2x - 5x = - 2 - 1

 - 3x = - 3

 x = 1

 x = 1 .
