angle \: a \:  + angle \: b  = 180

4x + 20 + 7y = 180

4x + 7y = 180 - 20

4x + 7y = 160

angle \: b   =  angle \: d

7y = 6x + 3y - 8

8 = 6x - 4y

4 = 3x - 2y

3x - 2y = 4

12x + 21y = 480

12x - 8y = 16

29y = 464 = 16

3x - 2y = 4

3x - 32 = 4

3x = 4 + 32

3x = 36

x =  \frac{36}{3}

x = 12

y = 16

I hope this helps you
