Answer :-

Given :-

  • Ratio of height to base = 3 : 4
  • Area of parallelogram = 432 cm²

To Find :-

  • Height

Solution :-

Let the height be 3x and base be 4x.

We know that,

Area of parallelogram = Base × Height

Substituting the value in formula :-

→ 3x × 4x = 432

→ 12x² = 432

→ x² = 432 / 12

→ x² = 36

→ x = √36

→ x = 6

  • Height = 3x = 3 × 4 = 12 cm

Height of parallelogram = 12 cm

Gıven :

  • In a parallelogram height and base are in the ratio 3:4

  • Area of parralegram is 432 cm²

To Fınd :

  • Height of parralegram

Solutıon :

Here in the Question we are given Height and base of parralegram and area is 432cm². So, let the Height be 3y and Base be 4y. As we know that Area of Parralegram is Base × Height. By Putting the values in the formula we can easily find the Height.

Area of Parralegram = Base × Height

→ 432 = 3y × 4y

→ 432 = 12y²

→ y² = 432/12

→ y = √36

→ y = 6 cm

Height = 3 × 6 = 18cm

Height of Parralegram is 18cm
