Semi perimeter of triangle made by parallelogram by one diagonal (S)=

(20+34+42)/2

=48

a=48-20=28

b=48-34=14

c=48-42=6

area of triangle =

 \sqrt{s \times a \times b \times c}

=336cm square

now, area of parallelogram =2*area of

triangle

= 2*336

= 672cm square
