Answer:

<r=100°

Step-by-step explanation:

In a parallelogram opposite angles are equal and adjacent angles are supplementary

Hence <p=<r & <q=<s

<p+<q=180° (adjacent angles)

<q+20+<q=180° (∵ <p=<q+20°)

⇒2<q+20=180°

⇒2<q=160°

⇒<q=160/2=80°

∴ <p=80°+20°=100°

∴ <r=100°

Given : a parallelogram pqrs

angle P= angle Q + 20°

To Find :   angle r

Solution:

Sum of adjacent angles of parallelogram = 180°

∠ P + ∠Q  = 180°

∠ P =  ∠Q + 20°

=>  ∠Q + 20° + ∠Q  = 180°

=> 2∠Q  = 160°

=> ∠Q  = 80°

∠ P =  80°+ 20°   = 100°

opposite angles of a parallelogram are equal

=> ∠R = ∠ P = 100°

Hence ∠R = 100°
