Given :-

  • Ratio of Base and Height in a Parallelogram is 5:2
  • Area of Parallelogram = 360m²

 \\

To Find :-

  • Base and Height of Parallelogram

 \\

Solution :-

⟾ Let the Base of Parallelogram be 5x

⟾ Let the Height of Parallelogram be 2x

According to the Question :

➟ Area of Parallelogram = Base × Height

➟ 360 = 5x × 2x

➟ 360 = 10x²

➟ 360 / 10 = x²

➟ 36 = x²

➟ √36 = x

6m = x

________________

Therefore :

  • Base = 5x = 5 × 6 = 30m
  • Height = 2x = 2 × 6 = 12m
