hey there !!

the perimeter of a parallelogram = sum of its sides .

and we know that opposite sides are equal of a parallelogram .

let the adjacent sides be 4x and 5x

now ,.

perimeter = 4x + 4x + 5x + 5x

72 = 18x

x = 4

so one side of the parallelogram = 4x = 4 × 4 = 16

and the other will be 5x = 5 × 4 = 20

and the remaining sides are also 16 and 20 .

verification :-

perimeter = sum of all sides of ||gm

perimeter = 16+16+20+20

Perimeter = 32+40

perimeter = 72

hence verified .

hope it helps !!

be brainly , together we go far ! ♥♥

#AlexaRousey here!!

Let the meet of ratio be x.

Hence two sides are 4x nd 5x.

Since Perimeter of llgm = 2(l+b)

=) 72cm = 2(4x+5x)

=) 72cm = 2(9x)

=) 72cm/18 = x

=) 4cm = x

Hence sides are 4*4cm and 4*5cm.

= 16cm nd 20cm.

Thanks!!
