Question

  • In a parallogram,a pair of adjacent angles differs by 40 degree . Find all the angles of the parallogram?

Answer

  • All angles of llgm are 110°, 110°, 70°, 70°

Given

  • A pair of adjacent angles differs by 40 degree

To Calculate

  • All angles of llgm

Explanation

In a llgm, Two angles differ by 40°

In a llgm , any two adjacent angles add up to 180° ( Supplementary angles)

Let One angle be x

Other angle be = 180-x

➺ x- (180-x) = 40

➺ x -180+x= 40

➺ 2x-180=40

➺ 2x= 40+180

➺ 2x = 220

➺ x= 220/2

x=110°

Therefore,

x= 110°

180-x = 180-110 = 70°

We know two angles of llgm

Thus, Other two angles will be of measure 110 ° and 70°

  • All angles of llgm are 110°, 110°, 70°, 70°
