in a parellogram the base is thrice of length of the altitude its area is 192cm find base and altitude

here's ur answer...

given that the base is thrice of the length of the height.

let the height of the parallelogram be x.

therefore base of the parallelogram will be 3x.

→ 3x × x = 192cm²

→ 3x² = 192cm²

→ x² = 192/3

→ x² = 64

→ x = √64

→ x = 8

hence height of the parallelogram=x

=8cm

base of the parallelogram=3x

=3×8

=24cm

area of parallelogram=base×height

=24×8

=192cm²

hence verified
