In a parking lot there were many cars and motor cycles parked the number of motor cycle were double that of cars it is noticed that there are 296 wheels together how many cars and motor cycle were parked

let the no. of cars be 'x'
So no. of motar will be '2x'
according to question
x+2x = 296
3x = 296
x= 296÷ 3
x = 98.33

no. of cars = 98.33
no.of motar bikes = 196.66
