 \huge \bold \red{Answer}

Earning of a man in a particular month = Rs. 1800

Amount spent on food = (3/10) of Rs. 1800

= Rs. 540

Amount spent on house rent

= (1/4) of Rs. 1800 = Rs. 450

Amount spent on insurance

= (1/10) of Rs. 1800 = Rs. 180

Amount spent on holidays

= (2/25) of Rs. 1800

= Rs. 144

∴ Total amount spent = Rs. (540+450+180+144)=Rs.1314

∴ Amount saved = Rs. 1800 – Rs. 1314

= Rs. 486
