Answer:

1 month = rs 15 loss

rs 15 = 1500 paise

1 pencil = 30 paise

Number of pencils sold = 1500/30

                                       =50 pencils

Hope it helps you

Answer:

let the normal amount of pencils sold in each month be x

let's convert 15 ruppees to paise, 15*100 = 1500 p

if the shopkeeper loses 30 p per pencil, then the fall in sell of pencils will be 1500 / 30. = 50 pencils

as we know the previous number of pencils sold was x , then answer = x-50
