Answer:

let his monthly salary be x

given, Lalit spend 30%of his monthly salary on food that is x

also it means that he spend 9000 on food equal to 30% of x

according to the question,

30/100×x = 9000

3x/10 =9000

x= 9000×10/3

x= 30000

i) his monthly salary is ₹30000

ii) if he saved 12% of his monthly salary then his savings will be

12% of his monthly salary that is 12% of 30000

therefore savings = 12/100×30000

12×300 = 3600

his savings is ₹ 3600

a)let lalit's monthly income be 'x'

30% of x=rs.9000

(30/100) x=rs.9000

x=(9000/1) / (30/100)

x=(9000/1) X (100/30)

x=300X100

x=30000

lalit's income=Rs.30,000

b)12% of his monthly salary

  = 12/100 X 30000

  =12X300

  =3600

so, lalit's monthly saving is Rs.3600
