in a particular month of August whose first day is Sunday a day is selected find the probability that the day selected is not sunday

Total days in august= 31
Total sundays in august=5
Remaining days =31-5= 26
Probability=non sunday days/total days

26/31 is answer

ParthParth: If first day is sunday then 1 aug is sunday ,then 8 aug is sunday, then 15 aug is sunday, then 22 aug is sunday ,then 29 aug is sunday .therfore , 5 su daus in august
