Answer:the profit ratio between A and B is 2:1

Explanation:

Given- A contributes 1200 for 5 months .

Total amount he contributed is = 1200×5= 6000

B contributes 750 for 4 months .

Total amount he contributed is = 750×4= 3000

so the ratio of their contribution is

= 6000: 3000

=2:1

profit ratio will also be same as they contributed The amount of 6000 : 3000 so the ratio is 2:1

total of ratio is 2+1 = 3

So we can write as -

Profit share of A = 2/3

Profit share of B= 1/3

ratio is 2:1

the given profit is 450

so divide the profit in two ratio which is 2:1

Profit of A = 300 = 450×2/3

Profit of B= 150 = 450×1/3

the profit ratio between A and B is 2:1

and the profit amount is 300 and 150

FINAL ANSWER - the profit ratio between A and B is 2:1
