Step-by-step explanation:

ajay invested 12000.

sumalya invested 18000.

sumalya withdraw half of his captial - 18000/2 = 9000.

2 months later ajay withdraw 1/3 of his captial = 12000/3 = 12000 - 4000 = 8000.

.

the total profit at the end of the year is 14500.
