In a party , 66 2/3 % of the people who attended it are men. If 40% of the men and 50% of the total number of persons had left the party, what percent of the women had left the party?

then women attended = 100x-(200x/3) =  100x/3

50% of total number left = 50x

Women left = 50x - 80x/3 = 70x/3

{(70x/3)/100}*(100x/3) = 70 %
