Let the Number of Males in the Party be : M

Let the Number of Females in the Party be : F

Given : If 15 Females quit then the Number of Females will become Double the Number of Males

:\implies  F - 15 = 2M

:\implies  F = 2M + 15

Given : If 45 Males quit then the Number of Females will become 5 times the Number of Males

:\implies  F = 5(M - 45)

Equating both values of F, We get :

:\implies  2M + 15 = 5(M - 45)

:\implies  2M + 15 = 5M - 225

:\implies  5M - 2M = 225 + 15

:\implies  3M = 240

\mathsf{:\implies M = \dfrac{240}{3}}

:\implies  M = 80

Substituting the Value of M in the Equation F = 2M + 15, We get :

:\implies  F = 2(80) + 15

:\implies  F = 160 + 15

:\implies  F = 175

Answer : Number of Females in the Party = 175

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Let The Number of Male be "X".

& No. Of Females be "y".

Condition |,

Y - 15 = 2X

=> Y = 2x + 15.___________(1).

Condition ||,

45 Males Quit then No. Of Females be Five times the male.

=> (x - 45)5 = y

=> 5x - 225 = 2x + 15 (From EQ 1).

=> 5x - 2x = 225 + 15

=> 3x = 240

=> x = 240/3

=> x = 80

Hence,

The Number of Male in the party is 80.

Putting x = 80 in EQ (1). We get,

=> Y = 2x + 15

=> Y = 160 + 15

=> Y = 175.

Hence,

Number of Female in the Party is 175.

Number of Female in the party is more than the Number of Males in the Party. It should happen in our Country. (^_^).
