Given In a pentagon A B C D E, AB is parallel to DC and<A:<E:<D=3:4:5 find angle E

AB is parallel to DC. sum of interior angles of the transversal is 180 degree. B + C = 180 degree. Also sum of interior angles is equal to 540 degree

Let A = 3 x, E = 4 x and D = 5 x

So angle A + B + C + D + E = 540

             B + C + A + D + E = 540

               180 + 3 x + 4 x + 5 x = 540

              180 + 12 x = 540

                 12 x = 540 - 180

                 12 x = 360

                    x = 360 / 12

                    x = 30 degree

So angle E = 4 x = 4 x 30 = 120 degree

Angle E = 120 degree
