The pie chart has the central angle of the sector as 72\textdegree.

As, we know that,

sector \ angle=\frac{value}{total \ value }\times 360\textdegree

The fraction of the circle represented by the sector is

72\textdegree=\frac{value}{total\ value} \times 360\textdegree

\implies \frac{72\textdegree}{360\textdegree} =required \ fraction \\\\\implies \frac{1}{5} =fraction

Hence, it can  be seen that this sector will the 20% of the pie chart or the one-fifth of the pie chart.

Note: Pie chart is the circular representation of different quantity with the help of number of sectors.
