In a pizza restaurant, you can get a basic pizza with two toppings: cheese and tomato. You can also make up your own pizza with extra toppings. You can choose from four different extra toppings: olives, capsicum, mushrooms and paneer. Rashmi wants to order a pizza with two different extra toppings. How many different combinations can Rashmi choose from?

Answer: 6

Here we are given two main toppings and 4 extra toppings and while ordering pizza Rashmi can order a pizza with one main topping and one extra topping.

With each extra topping rashmi can have two options two go on with that is the main topping.

or we can say that first main topping can go with 4 extra toppings and so on.

So, we can write this as 4C2 that 4!/2!2! which is equal to 6.

therefore, different combinations Rashmi can choose from will be 6.
