In certain plants fruits lack seeds. These kinds of plants reproduce their offsprings by vegetative propogation that is reproduction through the vegetative part of a plants. these include reproduction through stems, leaves and flowers.

In Rose, if a stem is being cut and plant in a fresh soils rich in humus then the smaller part will grow into a new plant. In the leaves of bryophyllum, there are small projection which tends to grow into a new plant directly from the main leaves
