total = 10000

1/5 of 10000 = 2000 = 2000 ear ring                  (Given)

remaining persons = 10000 - 2000 = 8000

1/2 of remaining = 1/2 of 8000 = 4000 = 0 ear rings

Number of persons left = 10000 - 2000 + 4000 = 4000

4000 persons wear 2 ear rings each

Therefore total ear rings worn by 4000 persons = 2 * 4000 = 8000

Total Ear Rings = 2000 + 8000 = 10000
