in a primary school there shall be 3 teachers in to 60 students if there are 400 students enrolled in a school how many teacher should be there in the school in the same ratio

As 3:60=1:20

1:20::x:400

400 = 20x

x= 400/20

x=20

So answer is 20 teachers..

for 3 teachers = 60 students
1 teacher = 60/3 = 20 students
for 400 students = 400/20 = 20 teachers
