What will be angle of incidence and angle of deviation of a prism of angle 60° and refractive index √3 ? If the refracted ray is parallel to the base of the prism ……... For a prism r1+r2=A (A is angle of prism). If the refracted ray is parallel to the base of the prism then r1=r2 .

So r1 =30°

=> sin(i)sin(r1)=3^(1/2)

=>I=60°
