Let there be X 10Rs note
no of Rs 5 note= 2X+1
no of  Rs 20 note= X-5
Sum of the notes= 3X-4
value of notes= 10*X+ 5(2x+1)+20(X-5)=185
                     ⇒ 10X +10X+5+20X-100=185
                      ⇒  40X= 280 ⇒ X=7
Rs 10 Qty 7
Rs 5  Qty 15
Rs20 Qty 2

Let the no. Of 10 rs note be x then 5 rs note= 2x + 1--- & 20 rs note = x. - 5. value Of these are 10x+10x +5 +20x - 100= 185----- next step---- =40x = 185+100-5---------- 40x=280 X=280÷40=7---- No. Of 10 rs note = 7 No. Of 5 rs note=2×7+1=15----- No. Of 20 rs note =7-5=2
