In a quadrilateral ABCD, angle A = B =18, if angle C: D =4.5 then find angle C and D.

hey the answer is ........


sum of angles of a quadrilateral = 360

angle A + angle B + angle C + angle D = 360

let the angle be x

18 + 18 + 4x + 5x = 360

36 + 9x = 360

9x = 360 - 36

9x = 324

x = 324/9

x = 36

angle C = 36 × 4 = 144

angle D = 36 × 5 180

LET angleC=4x and angleD=5x
In a quad. sum of all angles is 360
therefore,
angleA+B+C+D=360
18+18+4x+5x=360
36+9x=360
9x=324
x=36

now,c=4X36=144
and d=5X36=180
