In a quadrilateral ABCD, side AD=15cm, DC=13cm,CB=14, AB=12cm, AC=16, find its area? ​

Here in this question 1st will find the semi-perimeter of triangle ABC and then its area using Heron's formula, then we will find the semi perimeter of triangle ACD and again its area using Heron's formula. Finally, we will add or sum up them both to find the final area of the quadrilateral ABCD.

Area of quadrilateral ABCD = Area of ∆ABC + Area of ∆ACD

Area of quadrilateral ABCD = 21√15 + 6√66

Area of quadrilateral ABCD = 130.08 cm²

Therefore, the are of quadrilateral ABCD = 130.08 cm²
