HEYA!!!!
The same question had arised in my mind too when l was in ninth.
ln biology , you learn that diffusion is movements of particles from highly concentrated region to lower concentrated region whereas in chemistry , you learnt it as movement or something of particles due to increase in kinetic energy.
ln fact , both means the same.Concentration difference and kinetic difference-both are the factors which make diffusion faster.Si both does mean same .Here , in different contexts of biplogy and chemistry and biology , different definitions were given. Both are valid itself.
l think "Diffusion is the process of movement of particles from higher concentrated region to lower concentrated region" is comparable more satisfactory answer .
