in a quiz a correct answer gives you 2marks and a wrong answer dedects you 1 mark from the total score ,totaly there are 50 questions to answer and aby scored 76 marks .what will be the no of questoins answered

* if aby attempted all the question
each question = 2 marks
1 wrong ans = 1 marks deduction from total
hence each wrong ans reduce marks from total score = 1 ( as penalty) + 2 ( as each question marks ) = 3

now total nos of question = 50
if all question are correct total score = 50×2= 100
actual score = 76
total reduction in score = 100-76= 24
score reduce in each wrong ans = 3
nos of wrong ans = 24÷3=8 question
nos of question aby correctly ans = 50- 8=42
