Answer:(i)6; (ii)18.

Step-by-step explanation:

Here, 4 marks are awarded for every correct answer and (-2)marks are awarded for an incorrect answer.

(i)Here, Rakhi scored 28 marks getting 10 correct answers. So, let's take her incorrect/wrong answers as 'x'.

So, 10(4)+x(-2)=28.

∴40+(-2x)=28.

∴40-2x=28.

∴-2x=28-40.

∴-2x=(-12).

∴x=-2/-12.

∴x=6.

Thus, Rakhi got 6 incorrect/wrong answers.

(ii)Now, Alok scored -16 marks getting 5 correct answers. So, let's take his incorrect/wrong answers as 'x'.

So, 5(4)+x(-2)=(-16).

∴20+(-2x)=(-16).

∴20-2x=(-16).

∴-2x=-16-20.

∴-2x=(-36).

∴x=-2/-36.

∴x=18.

Thus, Alok got 18 incorrect/wrong answers
