correct answer = 70 %
uncorrect answers = 100 - 70 = 30 %
uncorrect answers = 30 % = 6 question
= 30/6 = 5 %
= 1 question = 5 %
total quiz = 5% ÷ 100% = 20 quiz
20 question asked in competition

\huge\bold\purple{\bigstar{solution}}

number of questions he failed to answer=6

percentage of questions he failed to answer=30%(100%-70%)

30%=6

let the total number of questions asked in the quiz competition

be x.

30\% \: of \: x = 6

 =  >  \frac{30}{100}  \times x = 6

 =  >  \frac{3}{10}  \times x = 6

 =  > x = 6 \times  \frac{10}{3}

 =  >  x = 2 \times 10

 =  > x = 20

hope this helps you
