In a quiz each question has 4 choices, one of them being correct . A student knows the answer,guesses or copies the answer. A student guesses the answer. What is the probability that his answer is correct.

If student guesses the answer is correct , then the probability that his answer is correct = \dfrac{\text{No. of correct answer}}{\text{Total number of choices}}

=  \dfrac{1}{4}

Hence, the correct answer =  \dfrac{1}{4}
