In a quiz, positive marks are given for correct answers and negative marks are given
for incorrect answers. If Jack’s scores in five successive rounds were 25, – 5, – 10,
15 and 10, what was his total at the end?​

Solution :-

• Scores of jack in five rounds :- 25 , - 5 , - 10 , 15 & 15
• To find his total score , we have to add all his scores .

=> 25 + ( - 5 ) + ( - 10 ) + 15 + 10

=> 25 - 5 - 10 + 15 + 10

=> 25 - 15 + 15 + 10

[ - 15 & 15 get cancel , because they are equal and have opposite sign ]

=> 25 + 10

=> 35

Conclusion :-

• Hence , jack's score is 35
