Answer:

5m

Explanation:

A=50m

B=40m

C=36m

this is the data when a wins that means a defeated c by by 14 metres

but be hasn't won so we cannot say that b has defeated C by 4 metre

calculate answer by unitary method

when B is 40 C is 36

ratio=40:36

=10:9

if b completed 1m

C completed 9/10m

simplying:-1×50=50m.

(because B has won and completed 50 m)

c will cover 9/10×50

=45m

50-45=5m

this implies that b defeated c by 5 m
