Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Given :-

In a race of 800 m A can beat B by 40 m .

In a race of 500 m B can beat C by 5 m .

In a race of 200 m A will beat C.

To Find :-

Distance by which A will beat C in a 200 m.

Solution :-

Ratio of distances covered by A and B

=  800  :  760

=  20000  : 190000

Ratio of distances covered by A and B

=  800  :  760

=  20000  : 190000

Therefore Ratio of distance covered by A and C

=  20000  :  18810

=  200  :  188.1

Distance by which A will beat C in a 200 m.

= 200 - 188.1

= 11.9 m

Hence, A will beat C by 11.9 m.

Answer:

hii mate hope my answer finds u in the pink of your health---

Step-by-step explanation:

given,A:B=800:760

B:C=500:495

A:B::B:C

implies, 800:760::500:495

taking the common ratio

800×25/760×25=500×38/495×38

20000/19000=19000/18810

now cancelling out the 19000 by dividing

we get A:C=20000/18810

dividing by 100 we get,

A:C=200/188.1

=11.9 i guess calculator se kar diye

okay bye

take care

love you
