Given, Dimensions of roof =22*20
Radius of conical vessel = 2/2 =1m
Height of conical vessel =3.5m
Let d be the depthness of rain water.
Therefore
Volume of rainwater=volume of conical vessel
Volume of rainwater=22*20*d
=440*d
Volume of conical vessel = 1/3 πr^2h
=1/3 *22/7*1*1*3.5
=11/3 m^3
Now again
440*d = 11/3
d = 1/120
d =0.008 m
d= 0.008 * 100 *10 = 8 mm.
Hence rainfall is 8mm
