Let no. of coins be X
Therefore gold coins X and non gold coins 3X
adding 10 gold coins for the ration of 2:1
it will become 10+X : 3x = 2:1
10+X / 3X = 2 / 1
Therefore X = 20
hence,
no. of gold coins = 10+X = 10+20 = 30
no. of non gold coins = 3X = 3 * 20 = 60
Total no. of coins = 30+60 = 90
