Solution :-

Let us Assume that, the third number is 100.

Than,

Given that, the first two numbers are 15% and 20% more than the third number.

So,

First Number = 100 + 15% of 100 = 100 + (15 * 100/100) = 100 + 15 = 115 .

→ Second Number = 100 + 20% of 100 = 100 + (20 * 100/100) = 100 + 20 = 120 .

Also, The fourth number is 5% less than the third number.

Than,

Fourth Number = 100 - 5% of 100 = 100 - (5 * 100/100) = 100 - 5 = 95 .

To Find :-

  • The ratio of the first, second and fourth number .

→ First Number : second Number : Fourth Number

Putting values we get :-

→ Required Ratio = 115 : 120 : 95

→ Required Ratio = 5 * 23 : 5 * 24 : 5 * 19

5 will be cancel ,

→ Required Ratio = 23 : 24 : 19 (Ans.)

Hence, the ratio of first, second and fourth number is 23 : 24 : 19.
