Answer:

Rational no. is 3/8

Step-by-step explanation:

1st condition

Let the numerator be x

and denominator be x+ 5

So The Rational no is x/(x +5)

According to 2 ND condition

(x+2)/(x+5-2) = 5/6

(x+2)/(x+3)=5/6

(x+2)(6)=5(x+3)

6x+12=5x + 15

6x -5x= 15-12

x= 3

So the Rational no is x/(x+5) = 3/(3+5) =3/8
