Numerator = x-2

Rational no. = x-2/x

x-2-1/x-1 = 1/2

x-3/x-1 = 1/2

2(x-3) = 1( x-1)

2x - 6 = x -1

2x-x = -1 +6

x = 5

Rational no. = 5-2/5 = 3/5
