Given:-

→Mass of Sodium carbonate

that reacted = 5.3g

→Mass of Ethanoic acid that reacted = 6g

→Mass of Carbon-dioxide

produced = 2.2g

→Mass of Water produced = 0.9g

→Mass of Sodium-Ethanoate

produced = 8.2g

To show:-

→The above observations are in the agreement of Law of Conservation of Mass.

Solution:-

In this reaction,reactants are:-

Sodium Carbonate

Ethanoic acid

In this reaction,products are:-

Carbon-dioxide

Water

Sodium Ethanoate

Now, according to Law of Conservation of mass,we know that:-

=>Total mass of Reactants = Total Mass of Products

Firstly let's calculate the total mass of reactants:-

=>(5.3+6)g

=>11.3g

Now,let's calculate the total mass of products:-

=>(2.2+0.9+8.2)g

=>11.3g

Here,we can see that the total mass of the reactants as well as the total mass of products is 11.3g.

Thus,we can say that the above observations are in agreement with the Law of Conservation of mass.
