Given:-
- AB = x + y
- BC = x - y
- CD = 19 cm
- AD = 7 cm
Find:-
- Value of x and y

In rectangle ABCD ,
- AB = CD
- BC = DA
So,
- x + y = 19 ...........(1)
- x - y = 7 ............(2)
Add both of this ,
➥ 2x = 26
➥x = 26/2
➥x = 13
Now, keep value of x in equ(1)
➥13 + y = 19
➥ y = 19 - 13
➥ y = 6
Thus:-
- Value of x = 13
- Value of y = 6
