In a rectangle, adjacent sides measure x + 2 and 2-3 and perimeter = 40 units. Find X​

We know that the perimeter of rectangular

= 2 ( l + b )

Therefore,

2 ( x + 2 + 2x − 3 ) = 40

3x − 1 = 20

3x = 21

x = 7
