Let the breadth of the rectangle be ‘x’cm and length be‘(x+4)’cm

We know that area of traingle=60cm2

:.l×b=60

:.x(x+4)=60

:.x2+4x-60=0

By factorisation method,

:.x2+10x-6x-60=0

:.x(x+10)-6(x+10)=0

:.(x-6)(x+10)=0

X=6 Or X=-10

Negative answer is not acceptable hence discarded

Length=x=6cm

Breadth=x+4=6+4=10cm

I hope this will helpful to you!!

Thank you!!
